    Two free I-pod nanos.

Congratulations, you have qualified to receive 2 free I-pod nanos.

Geez, everytime the thing comes on I nearly jump out of my chair because it is so loud. It is like a darn commercial on TV, you set the volume so it sounds right and then when the commercial comes on it blows you away. Our TV used to auto turn down the volume for commercials but for some reason it doesn't work anymore. Wish I could auto delete this one.

I know what you mean.  That ad is a little annoying.  I'm getting tired of hearing it.  How long until their sales contract is up with WSS?  Couldn't the little character like bounce up and down in the ad or something instead?

Just for fun I clicked on it and took the survey and gave them my spam address.  Interestingly I used to recieve 50 spams a day and now I'm recieving ~175.  Click with caution. BTW I also use a VM (Virtual Machine) to do things like that, just in case a virus is lurking behind those ads. This way, they can infect the VM and I can simply delete it and redeploy a new.

Very wise. I am not surprised about the increase in spam mail though. I wouldn't touch that one with a ten foot pole.

I set my volume really low, and often on mute.  Guess I'd probably miss it.  LOL!

Too busy watching and listening to CNBC ... trying to actually get a feel for the stock market.

    GOOD LUCK TO ALL!

It's better to keep the sound off your computer (unless you are listening to music, going to youtube, etc.).  I did not even know that was going on.

    Two ways:

    1. Download MS Virtual server or VMware server (This is to make your PC or another machine a host for the virtual machine(s).)
    2. Create a new VM (This entails setting up a virtual disk which consumes some hard drive space ~10GB)
    3. Install the OS of your choice (with MS OSs it will cost you a licensed copy to be legal)

You will need to tweak your VM so you don't over power the machine you are running on. i.e. make your host too slow to operate.

Install the softwares of your choice.

Once complete, shutdown the VM, make a copy of the virtual disk and config files to some place safe. (another directory) Set a restore point and then have fun.  Once you have had fun, revert back to your restore point and wha la completely new VM again.  In the event of catastrophic failure or corruption of the VM, turn it off, delete the files and copy the originals back in, wha la new VM again.
