Thats wht they said about Alou's return.  Im speaking as a Mets fan.  It worked for about a week after Moises returned to the lineup but now they are playing as crappy as they did before.  I do have to say that its no ones fault but that damn Heilman.  They need to get rid of him.

Yeah, and you should get another two weeks out of Pedro before he goes on the DL again.  Perhaps you should check the leadership - or lack, thereof - rather than the individuals themselves?

Yankees!  I know they're off to a slow and disappointing start, but I do expect them to pick it up and recover.  Or at least I hope they do.

I disagree.  He cant make the guys hit better or play better defense.  All he can do is execute a game plan.  Its not his fault the Mets are 500 team right now.  But when it comes down to it he"ll be the one takingthe brunt of the front office cause its not like you can fire the players.  Im very disappointed right now.  Keith Hernandez keeps saying he cant see them being like this the whole season.  But I dont see any relief in sight.  Id be more inclined to say the Yankees will emerge before the Mets

It's easier to fire 1 rather than 25, so, if the Mets don't win a game in thhis series with the Marlins, Willie is toast.  Same goes if they have a disasterous homestand!

Yankees have always been my team...i am hoping that willie can do something with the mets because i do like him and wish him the best he is a nice guy and i would hate to see him go...but I have been a yankees fan since the 70's...

Give Willie a chance, his under alot of pressure from the higher ups. His team is divided now but the only thing Willie could do is stay neutal and tough it out. I been to the club house and it's a his fault situation. Let's all tell the players to stop playing Little League Tactics and own up. Keep Willie and let him do his job!!!!!!

Youve been in the Mets clubhouse?  Thats cool.  Are you a sports writer or something?  It was good to see them win last ight with johan on the mound but they cant rely on him every 5th day to stop a losing streak.  They need to put together a string of wins which will I think will take some of the stres off the situation.  I havent given up hope yet this season.

It's a family thing. Let's hope the momentum carries on. Pedro is due back by the 3rd. Church is day by day. But Evans got off the plane and performed. Maybe the old guys needed a little young blood.Not everyones positions are secured. If your true blue, you know a bad first half is a great second half. See me after the All Star break.
