is this stock even worth owning?

Nvidia is managed very well, they seem to always be a step ahead of ATI or at least keeping pace with them, from the gaming community it seem that Nvidia products are superior in options/performance of top level/and software abilities.  This stock is up 330% over 5 years which is 3 times better most targets for investors.  With the online boom in the gaming community occuring Nvidia looks to be in a good position to control the video card aspect of gaming/design machines

It's funny you should ask about NVDA. I was looking at them before I left for work this morning. Who are NVDA's real competitors? ATI has been messing up a lot lately. Geforce is definitely not on par with Nvidia. I'm thinking they're good to invest in for the next year or two until a good competitor shows up.

Nvidia are the makers of the GeForce line of video cards. They've been at it for years. The battle between Nvidia and ATI is similar to the battle between AMD and Intel. They both produce very capable products. Nvidia tends to be the card of choice for gaming while ATI tends to be the card of choice for business and graphic design. They both have their own strengths and weaknesses.

average out with both

go with ATI they will post better earnings as the business wolrd is larger than gaming
