US housing market Up or Down

It is down for now possiblly in 2009 it will improve

I think it will take years to recover this housing market. If things start improving, there is still a glutton of foreclosed properties out there that will affect housing prices for a long time.

given how much housing has appreciated between about late 1990s - early 2000s, experts are now saying that housing will not improve untl 2011-2012
