This is a great site to play the "virtual" stock market. I am not a trader or a broker and I still placed in the top 10 (6th out of 11,378 players) of another stock market challenge. If I can place in the top 10..(and won $250.00 for 6th place finish).you can too.

There are three things you "MUST" do. 

1. Don't panic, 2.don't buy on hunches and most importantly.....3.do some homework on the stocks you want to trade.

IS THERE A FLAW IN THIS GAME. I FIND IT DIFFICULT TO BELIEVE THAT SO MANY PEOPLE COULD INCREASE PORTFOLIO SO RAPIDLY. IS THER E SOMETHING THAT I AM MISSING. ASSUMING  YOU CAN INVEST ONLY 25K PER STOCK. THIS WOULD REQUIRE A LOT OF DOUBLING TO ACHIEVE THESE RESULTS

be sure yes market value of a long position at the bottem were it says good for the day click and it will show good till canceled that is a long position but do your home work and keep in mind i have every doller avail in play and belive me its not for the faint of heart and i swing trade to other positions on my shorts so try tests at first because larg caps will eat you alive if you get it wrong crazy huh ive only been trading 6 months my self and never thought i could answer a question like that hope it helps

I think that these poeple are just getting lucky when getting into some cheap stocks

I have an open position in First Solar(FSLR),that i purchased 100 shares at around $239 or so.The price at this moment shows around $253, yet my portfolio shows the position having no market value,giving me a very big percent and cash loss for the day....How can my chances be any good in a game that judges one by daily percent / cash gains?
