market rally or covering shorts?

market rally or covering shorts?

do you all think the market is ralleying when it goes up or just folks covering their short positions? cjy

I think we have had a few little rallys. People seem ready to hold on to their shorts, but then they have to cover them when a rally hits. Everyone has in their minds that we are in a recession and are not feeling good about economics right now, and then something little happens and we have a littly rally for a day or two, then something else happens and everything goes down again. Ben says it will all be over by July and we will be on an upward trend again.
