Hillary is gay without a doubt. Within a week of Bill's inaugaration gay acts were sent through. And think why would bill have affair's. They probally had no sex life. Obama is black. Hello america has been controlled by rich white males for the past two hundred thirty two years. Anyways, there would be a good chance of assasination attempts by psychos out there. Plus, america consists of about two hundred million caucasians. the other one hundred million are of minority backgrounds. That leaves mccain and ron paul well excuse me, mccain. Therefore McCain is the only practical candidate and fortunately, he is a republican.

As I said before, I don't think this country is ready to vote a woman into office... even HC or C Rice. I'm not sure about a man of color. Maybe. He talks good, better than Jimmy Carter. There are just too many voting Americans that have grow up with the idea that women are the weaker sex. And HC crying on national TV after her Iowa loss verified it.

No insults intended, just what I think still is ingrained into many voters.

Women have a tendency to let their emotions get in the way of clear thinking.Look what has happened since Pelosi was voted "Speaker of the House". I have never seen Newt Gingrich or Dennis Haskell (?) fly around to other countries. I didn't think that was part of the job, maybe I'm wrong. Pelosi is going everywhere trying to spread good will (or empathy) and I believe that action is going to cause us trouble in the future.

You could be right about HC and OB.

I just hope that if McCain wins, his policies on the the war, global competitiveness, and tax cuts for big business do not take as much out of lower and middle income workers pockets as Bush has done with these same policies thru job loss, cost of living spiraling out of control, recession, inflation fears, unemployment rising, gas prices surging, etc.,etc. I can see a lot more homeless and a whole lot more bankruptcy for small business if there is a continuation of these policies.

 Maybe big corporation owners need another new cadillac, or another lake house or something and just could not swing it without a tax cut, so we need to help them out.

The way it has played out, I don't think Democrats have a whole lot to choose from, contrary to public opinion. Both candidates are seriously flawed. The party would be better served running a middle of the road candidate. They can't because they are controlled by the left wing zealots who hate eveything about America. A losing recipe.  They should know this by now, from their previous  track record. Kerry and Gore, what a bore.At least they were smart enough to show John Edwards the highway. He's the worst of all.

scooby85.... First .... thanks for serving..... I hope I am not imposing by asking, and if I am please just disreguard this and no hard feelings, but there have been numerous posts here in WSS about people wanting our soldiers opinions on the war and their presidents. (commander in chief)

So, if you have time, why would you avoid HC or BO? What do you know about our status in Iraq? And again, if this is too personal or private, as it is for many, do not let me impose.

I disagree with you about America not being ready for a female president.  They are not ready for Hillary, whom I dislike immensly, but not because I am a woman.  What America IS ready for is a candidate with brains, and the intelligence this country needs to put it back on track.  I would vote for a green martian, if he was good for the country.  As it is, I don't trust Obama, and can't stand Hillary.  As the junior Senator from New York, Hillary has passed no major legislation.  She has deferred all matters to Senator Shumer, including the issue of medical problems w/ workers involved in the cleanup of Ground Zero. (By the way if you think I am too emotional...think again.)

You could be right , but it is this demographic below that leads me to think this way...

This is a group that wouldn't let women into the military, or in very limited roles. (And there are  other deep seated reasons) I can't see them voting for any woman, martian or not, in a major way. A few can get beyond this, but not many. In my opinion. Of course we might just find out.

I really think more voters should take a look at Ron Paul.  I don't see any other candidate that can handle the job.  Unfortunately, unless america expands their horizons, we'll never have the best candidate in office.
