    Do you want to trade in ETF's?

     

    Here are some ETF's:

     

        -- PowerShares DB Agriculture Fund (DBA)
    The Index Commodities consist of Corn, Wheat, Soybeans and Sugar

    -- PowerShares DB Base Metals Fund (DBB)
    The Index Commodities consist of Aluminum, Zinc and Copper-Grade A.

    -- PowerShares DB Commodity Index Tracking Fund (DBC)
    The Index Commodities are Light,
    Sweet Crude Oil, Heating Oil, Aluminum, Gold, Corn and Wheat. 

    -- PowerShares DB Energy Fund (DBE)
    The Fund is designed to track the Deutsche Bank Liquid
    Commodity Index-Optimum Yield Energy Excess Return(TM) (DBLCI-OY Energy
    ER(TM)), which is intended to reflect the energy sector.

    -- PowerShares DB Oil Fund (DBO)
    The Fund is designed to track the Deutsche Bank Liquid Commodity Index-Optimum Yield
    Crude Oil Excess Return(TM) (DBLCI-OY CL ER(TM)), which is intended to reflect
    the changes in market value of crude oil.

    -- PowerShares DB Precious Metals (DBP)
    The Fund is designed to track the Deutsche Bank Liquid Commodity
    Index-Optimum Yield Precious Metals Excess Return(TM) (DBLCI-OY Precious
    Metals ER(TM)), which is intended to reflect the precious metals sector.

    -- PowerShares DB Silver Fund (DBS)
    The Fund is designed to track the Deutsche Bank Liquid Commodity
    Index-Optimum Yield Silver Excess Return(TM) (DBLCI-OY SI ER(TM)), which is
    intended to reflect the changes in market value of silver.

    -- PowerShares DB Gold Fund (DGL)
    The Fund is designed to track the Deutsche Bank Liquid Commodity Index-Optimum
    Yield Gold Excess Return(TM) (DBLCI-OY GC ER(TM)), which is intended to
    reflect the changes in market value of gold.

    there are alot more ETFs than just those.  I used to own the Lehman brother's 7-10 year US long-bond ETF, but I forget its symbol now.  iShares is one of the main ETF providers here in Canada.

    However, WSS can't trade Canadian ETF's that are traded in Canada only.

    Thanks!  I like ETF's.  You get dividens.  They are a pretty safe bet!

    I bought DBC on the first day of the contest and it is up 8% and has been one of my best stocks.

    ETF's are usually very stable.  A few years ago when I had nothing.  I put $23 a month in qqqq and $23 in spy.  It's grown a lot.
