T-3 Energy Services, Inc. was formerly a Texas corporation named Industrial Holdings, Inc., or IHI, which was a public company with its common stock traded on The Nasdaq National Market. Its predecessor, T-3 Energy Services, Inc., or former T-3, was incorporated in Delaware in October 1999. T-3 Energy designs, manufactures, repairs and services products used in the drilling and completion of new oil and gas wells, the workover of existing wells, and the production and transportation of oil and gas. Its products are used in both onshore and offshore applications. The Company's customer base, which operates in active oil and gas basins throughout the world, consists of drilling contractors, exploration and production companies and pipeline companies, including Pride International, Grey Wolf Drilling, Nabors Drilling International, Diamond Offshore Drilling, Weatherford International, GlobalSantaFe, Marathon Petroleum Company and Exxon Mobil Corporation, among others. T-3 Energy focuses on providing its customers rapid response times for its products and services. The Company's products include the following: BOPs, BOP control systems, Elastomer products, Chokes, Manifolds and control valves, Custom coatings, Wellhead products, Pipeline products, Aftermarket parts and services. The Company markets its products through a direct sales force. In each of its product lines, new and used inventory and related equipment and parts are acquired from suppliers, including individual brokers, remanufacturing companies and original equipment manufacturers. T-3 Energy's products are sold in highly competitive markets. It owns, or has a license to use, a number of patents covering a variety of products. It operates facilities in the U.S. and abroad that are subject to stringent federal, state, provincial and local laws and regulations governing the discharge of materials into the environment or otherwise relating to environmental protection. As of December 31, 2005, T-3 Energy had 465 employees.
