The real key to trading like this is repetition, the more you do it, the more you get used to what exactly good news and bad news does to a stock and how the whole market is doing.,

So many times you buy a stock on good news and it goes down and visa versa,

Just repetition over and over again, and you get more and more used to everything.

It is so frustrating.  Like I've always thought, playing the market is just legal gambling!!!

Playing the market is not legal gambling unless you have not educated yourself on proper market action.

I'd recommend going to GrandSynergy.com , then clicking on the Bull Fighting The Bear. Their tournaments are Daily, Weekly, or Monthly, so you don't have a one-time shot every three months like WS S (that can be frustrating knowing you don't have any shot at winning).

It's certainly a challenge - but true character is defined by what people do in adverse times.  Do they quit or do they stick with it?

montana thats good way put it lol yeah  thats very true, also very helpful to know your math better.
I don't even need a calculator to figure this out now cuz im so used to it i know how many shares and cost will be at any price. But yea you do probably understand the market better the more trades you make. WIsh I  had lots of money to trade away with.

    Inna
I also done trading cuz i am losing so much money i am in debt. lol
Hey Inna, hows ur husband doing with that penny stock?

Inna - I know I am at a lower ranking than you, but I am NOT giving up!  I do get discouraged, but I am never going to learn unless I do it.  In the last contest I got down a little, but then rallied at the end.  This contest I am much farther down than I ever thought I would be, but who knows what tomorrow holds.

This game is less than 3 weeks old... not enough time to give up!  You still have a chance.  Most of the top 10 in the last tournament were not there right away... Maybe not any of them.  I do know that many of the early top runners fell back later on.

Anyway, keep learning, and once you can keep your portfolio over 100K, you're a winner, even if you never make it to the top 10!!

I did it last time... this time I'm trying the "shorts", and so far I'm picking stocks that rise for it.  LOL!

Well, I have time to wait for the fall... just need to make sure I don't have a loan balance on weekends (and better if not during the week, also).

Hey, my stocks aren't doing so bad today! I'm up by about 2200! woohoo! let's hope it doesn't go back down. I guess I'm satisfied with what I have and unless there's bad news about them I'll keep them. I didn't have enough faith before and if I saw a price of a stock go down I sold it. My husband didn't have time at work to check his stocks and overall he's doing much better, although today he didn't make as much as me. :) :)

AhSay, what penny stock are you talking about? FXPE? It's slowly climbing up but we're waiting on the news that they found oil... :)

I feel the same way but then something fun happens and I start all over again.

Sometimes when I keep going down, I also feel like forgetting about it.  Just get away from it for a couple of days then come back.  The last week or so has not been good.
