    XM and Sirius Merger

Well there has been alot of noise lately about the XM ( XMSR ) and Sirius ( SIRI ) merger and wonder what the others on the board think. I know the end company will have alot of satellites already in orbit with at least 3 more being built and already have 2 ground spares. So in the long run they won't need any more capital to buy additional spacecraft for awhile. Technically I don't know how compatable the two satellite systems are to each other but I can see a new receiver being built that can access both systems. This is in line with the released statment that each system will be maintained for 15 years , which is about the lifetime of the transmitting satellite.

Well all I can add is the merger looks alot more likely to happen now than 30 days ago which means that there might be a bump in the stock price. I have positions in both XM and Sirius for the game and have done really well with XM.

    XM and Sirius Merger

The Stations will probably be merged to have about the same amount as each one has now.  I currently have XM in my car and a Sirius system at work for "mood music".  The channels seem alot alike with very few differences.  My question is, they are merging, but who is gobbleing who up?
