Long term I'm thinking iPhone will NOT be a great investment. I'm not saying it won't be a "good" investment...but if you're looking for an amazing increase in it's value, you won't see it.

its a great design and well made phone, though I personally am not a fan of the "all in one" thing. I like having a great camera, good mp3 player, and good phone, instead of just a good one of each made into one device

honestly i am not willing to pay that much for the phone, especially that it breaks, you can lose it or drop it into the toilet. hah

lmao iphone battery is soldered into the phone HAHAHA sux big time they estimate 300-400 charges. So every year you need to either solder in a new battery yourself or send it to apple for replacement battery installation. Can someone say PROPRIETARY?

NOT. The iPhone will need to have a second version before it's worth buying. Apple stock is solid though, because it's supported by Macs, Ipods, & Iphones

I think its funny that "hackers" may actually help apple by adding 3rd party extras such as IM, that may make the Iphone more appealing... what do you think? Source: http://www.businessweek.com/technology/content/aug2007/tc2007081_895247.htm?chan=top+news_top+news+index_businessweek+exclusives

these "hackers" your referring to do this for every device out there. They just need to put things in the news. Unlocking "secure", "unmodifiable" devices is fun and many people do it so that they can put cool things on obsolete or inferior devices. *cough* linux *cough*. But seriously look at all the awesome wii hacks out there.
