Why we can buy back to $100,000.

If we would want to go to $100,000., could we just start from stactch instead of buy it back.

I don't think we should be having to pay on going back to $100,000., and when the end of each month everyone should

have to start at $100,000.  or I will never have a chance to win.  Someone with 3 or 4 hundred thousand has a much better chance to keep getting more prizes.

So if something doesn't change I will feel I will not have any chance of winning. What can we do??

    thank you

The Contest is now based on percentage gain...making the dollar amount you start out with irrelevant.

Yup... it doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me either. We should all have just been reset, but oh well. I'll make another account instead of paying money to reset.

I'm surprised that they are looking at % now because before they figured that people will drop the portfolio values on purpose and that way will get higher % increase.

They knew about that problem 2-3 games ago. That's why the enforced the fact that you couldn't win prizes unless you were above $100k

It will be the persons who have won more percentage wise. So I think everyone will have a fair chance. It is just less prizes and more people to where some like me probably will never get a prize. Its kind of like the market ok. lol good luck and happy trades.

i dont understand how ppl can benifit from dropping their profolio value to gain .... ??? can someone explain .... and secondly even if they are looking at a percentage return ... those will low protfolio value are at loss ... coz say i have $50,000 in my account .... and someone else has $200,000 .... they can buy more stocks and i cant ... so they can hedge their losses i can not ... so its unfair ....

The game is now based on weekly and monthly your percentage change from where you started.  So it doesn't matter if you like at 30000.  If you increase by 30000 then you've moved up 50 percent and thats what they are looking at now.

I never thought of that, but I still like the idea that they let us reset, maybe I have a itsbitsity chance to win something.

If you start at 30,000 and gain 30,000, your percentage gain is not 50% ... it is 100%.

Seems like it would be better to see who can make the most money, rather than who can increase his percentage the most week in and week out. In real life, I'd rather have someone make me 100,000 on a million than 20% on 5k.

     Whatever. It's fun anyway.
