A must read for grand parents

    A must read for Grandparents.

Those who aren't will love it, too.

At one point during a game,

the coach called one of his 9-year-old

    baseball players aside and asked,

'Do you understand what cooperation is?

    What a team is?'

The little boy nodded in the affirmative.

'Do you understand that what matters is

whether we win or lose together as a team?'

    The little boy nodded yes.

    'So,' the coach continued,

'I'm sure you know, when an out is called,

you shouldn't argue, curse, attack the umpire,

    or call him a pecker-head.

    Do you understand all that?'

    The little boy nodded again.

He continued, 'And when I take you out

of the game so another boy gets a chance

to play, it's not good sportsmanship to

call your coach 'a dumb ass' is it?'

    Again, the little boy nodded.

    'Good,' said the coach.

'Now go over there and explain

    all that to your grandmother!

There were so many times I had to walk away and go sit in my car last year at my son's football game it is not funny .I did this for fear I would say the wrong thing to my son's coach . Some of the boys were really bad , and the coach most of the game kept saying over and over again (That's O.k ) I told some of the other parents ( these kids are now in 8th grade not 2nd grade .)They need to go out there and kick some butt . Some of the parents would laugh at me because they knew why I would go sit in the car . I could still see the game from my car , but with the windows up , I could say the not so nice things that I wanted too. There is no other mother that is louder then me at the football games !! I really get into it . This year my son says I will really like all his coach's because they are really hard on us . I told him they should be , your not a baby any more dude . LOL

Being a grandparent must be great!

I can imagine being a bit "protective" ...  LOL!
