I was looking forward to starting all over again, but we will be keeping our portfolios this time and if we wish to start over we will need to reset.
For learning purposes this could be a good thing because if we don't reset it will give us more time to try and turn our loses into profit if our ports are currently showing a lot of loss.

I like it. For one thing you won't have to repurchase a stock that you didn't want to sell to begin with, at a higher price or a lower price depending on whether your long or short on it.

Thats true that is one good thing about it, I really didnt like that on this contest having to re-buy something

I am keeping an open mind on this one...i am undecided....
I hope all the bugs are worked out before then.

i am happy to hear a new contest is coming in sept. Good news....
I am ready for the new contest, but I am not sure about the changes. In the past, we have all started out at $100,000, but we will now be continuing where we are at the end of this contest? Am I right in this, or have I overlooked something?

I like not having to repurchase stocks, but will we get to keep the original purchase price? I would think?
Lately my entire portfolio has been turning over in the course of a week! So keeping it is OK with me...if I could just get back above that magic 100k again.
sure would be nice to crawl back to 100k!
