Factory orders expected to rise

Factory orders are expected to post a modest gain for May on Wednesday.

The report measures orders of durable, or long-lasting goods, and nondurable goods like clothing and fuel. Economists expect modest May growth.

Already-released data showed durable goods orders were flat in May, as a jump in orders for commercial aircraft and computers was offset by weakness in other categories
