Get rid of liberals. Then we can start drilling, and adding a refinery or two.

Best post I've seen in a long time. Thanks Bob. At least there is some hope that everyone in this country isn't nuts. I agree 1000%.

    Re: Gasoline

Ok here we go again...I should copy and paste this to a notepad so I dont have to type it anymore.

First off it's not a 35 year old mess, it's only become a mess in the last 7 years check it out:

1978-79 gas was at .68 a gallon, I remember this cause I just got out of the Marines and remember workin at a car wash/ gas station

1994-95 gas was at .99 - $1.05 I remember this because I had just bought a brand new toyota pickup in '94 and drove part time at dominos to help make the payments...only time it was .99 is when the gas stations were having gas wars.

2001 gas was at about $1.47 a gallon I remember this because I had to drive from Washington to Missouri 4 times that year...and gas always got cheaper as I went east.

2008 gas is at $3.81 a gallon where I am at

    so lets review:

From 1978 to 1995 gas prices went up about .31-.37 a gallon thats 17 years

    From 1995-96 to 2001 gas went up .42 - .48 a gallon thats 5-6 years

So far now from 1978 to 2001 our gas prices went up about .79 a gallon in roughly 23 years

From 2001 to 2008 just 7 years take a month or two gas has gone up $2.34 a gallon

I got one question WTF IS GOING ON!!??

I think the voting is what got us in to this mess in the first place, the problem is we keep voting in the wrong people.some americans are just uneducated .maybe we should start paying better attention , do our homework then vote. just an idea. lol

I dont know ray, we had a democrat in the late 70's we had a republican 80-92 then a democrat for 8 thru the 90's then a republican again

I dont want to sound like a magoo, but all this crap started after 9/11 and the ringing in of that damn Patriot Act...something aint right and the more I think about it it's all leaning more towards a one world government and currancy which totally scares the crap outta me

and I dont think people are uneducated they're just tired of the bs dont wanna vote cause they think it wont count which is what the politicians want so they only bring in elite votes like the electoral (spelling) what happened to the good old days when every vote counted

JamesLT says ........ "and I dont think people are uneducated they're just tired of the bs dont wanna vote cause they think it wont count which is what the politicians want so they only bring in elite votes like the electoral (spelling) what happened to the good old days when every vote counted."

I think people are "too busy (lazy)" to spend much time doing anything more than getting their info from the nightly news. And they blindy accept what they see/hear. And that's not good.

    Thanks for voting................
