    ALTERNATIVE ENERGY

It may not be a big money maker for us during the tournament, but other energy sources should reap gigantic profits within the next ten years. The real key is deciding which area will become monetarily feasible first. I think Solar and Wind Power have a bright future along with several others. I continue to be intriqued by WAVE POWER [OPTT] , which is in it's infancy. We also have to build more refineries, and step up our nuclear power plant capabilities. France has become very self sufficient in this area.

I watched this documentary last night on a town that was completely "blown away" in Greenburg, Kansas...that was also the title of the show "blown away"...they are rebuilded the entire town "green" the homes..the stores..the utilities (wind and solar)...the underground irigation for the town irrigation (recycling rain water)... It is amazing what they are doing...they have hired engineers to design the town so that it will be able to survive a tornado again.

I think solar and wind energy is going to be big in the future. There are so many companies starting to get involved in research. I wouldn't be surprized to see more stocks popping up in thissector.

    Re: ALTERNATIVE ENERGY

They do take enormous amounts of land to produce the energy and last year or a little longer ago, in Maine I think, the citizens nixed a wind farm off the coast cuz it would spoil their view.  Lots of people talk about alternative energy, many don't want it in their back yard, especially nukes.  Foreign countries build nukes waaaaaaaaay fast than we do.  Our regulatory processes combined with the need for local approval will not (has not) allowed development of this form of energy.
